today, english is becoming more and more popular. many countries have made english taught as the second language in schools. but why do students need english? if they do need, what do they need it for? a survey made by a teacher at a university answers the two questions.
the result of the survey suggests that almost all students need english and they need it for different purposes. most of the student learn english because they need to read english tetbooks or journals and attend english lectures, while only a few students need to use it to talks to english-speaking visitors, attend seminars, write letters, etc. there are also some differences between economics students and engineering students: compared with engineering students, more economics students need to read english business and to write reports in english.
from the results of the survey, we can see that students learn english different purposes, which varies with different students. whatever the purposes are, one thing is certain: students need english, and english teaching should be strengthened in universities.

I like to go to shopping, when I see the beautiful dress, I will take no hesitation to buy them, I just can’t control my mind. Since shopping online develops fast, I find an easy way to buy things, there are all kinds of styles, I feel I lack them all, so I want to buy them. When the single day comes, I couldn’t resist the temptation from the great discount, I want to buy the clothes which will be in great discount. In the long term, I have no place to put on my clothes.

Some people disagree this fact of keeping pets in dormitory，they think the dormitory is public space， students should build a good dormitory environment，the presence of the pet can increase of security risk。 In the meantime the reason people object to keeping pets is because many students will abandon their pet after they graduate from the university，so that many university have a large number of stray pets。
Other people think that students keep the pets in dormitory should not be condemned。They think the student have the right of keep pets and many pets won’t be have negative effects on other students in dormitory。
In my opinion，if the university allows the students keep pets and the dormitory have the proper condition，the students can keep pets in the dormitory。If the university prohibits keeping pets or other roommates are disagree with keeping pets， the student can’t broke the rule。All in all，when we do something，we should proceed from the reality。

The modern society provides people with more opportunities than before， and there are stories which tell us the possibility of becoming successful overnight。 Actually that is not the case。 Before these people become successful， a lot of hard work has been done， unnoticed mostly。 What we usually see is the result， but what we ignore is a long process of struggling forward and wrestling with internal or external obtacles。 Take quitting smoking for example， which is ， to most people ， a difficult task， so people always give up the idea for they dont have the strong will。
In a nutshell， strong will is an important condition or role of the success the individual should desire to maintain forever。 There is no instant success in this world。 Strong will is the best policy to make your life distinct and your dreams come true。
